The Evangelist
Task Force (ETF) Ministry was
officially organized in 1995
under the leadership of Reverend
Clarence Moore. The evangelistic
thrust has moved toward the
church, the home, the streets
and the community. We appreciate
the meaning of salvation and the
joy of telling others about our
Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Training is provided for all (ETF)
members. Weekly witnessing
schedules give an opportunity to
go out beyond the walls of the
church to share the Gospel so
that souls may be saved and the
lost lead to Christ. ETF members
are equipped with scriptures,
the Holy Bible and prayer,
recognizing that we are on the
spiritual battlefield. Follow-up
after contact is essential.
Follow-up is completed by
visits, phone calls, and/or by
mail with the purpose being to
help the individual grow closer
with God.
The (ETF) leadership supports
all ministries of the church and
gives guidance toward the
cooperation and enhancement of
evangelistic efforts within
their respective ministries. Our
mission focuses on the young and
the old. Opportunities are
provided for witnessing to
children to have an
understanding of God’s love for
them and that they will desire
salvation.
ETF Ministry extends to the
entire GSBC membership an
opportunity to witness by
participation in the
invitational “style/approach to
evangelism. We distribute
invitations and members bring
guest as we celebrate Friends
and Family.
